Lake Faak, known for its turquoise waters, offers idyllic lidos near Egg am See, perfect places for relaxation and leisure activities. These lidos are characterized by their manicured lawns, shady trees, and magnificent views of the Karawanks. The clear waters are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and stand-up paddling, while children can safely play in playgrounds and shallow bathing areas.
Some lidos offer additional amenities such as pedal boat rentals, volleyball courts or restaurants serving regional specialties.

Cycling and biking around Lake Faak is a highlight for anyone who wants to combine nature with exercise. The region offers a variety of routes suitable for both leisurely cyclists and mountain bikers. Numerous rental stations in the region provide high-quality bikes and e-bikes, making spontaneous excursions possible. Lake Faak Loop - A popular tour that starts in Ledenitzen and leads around the lake at a comfortable pace. For approximately 13 kilometers, you cycle past turquoise waters, idyllic forests, and charming villages. This family-friendly route offers numerous rest areas with lake views.
Mountain bikers can enjoy more challenging routes in the surrounding Karawanks. The Sattnitz Trail and the Mittagskogel climb offer challenging climbs and spectacular descents.
